Skrotfrag uses six ActiveFEED infeed units as precisely controllable clocks for the sorting technology. These are operated both online and offline.

Screening technology produces defined grain bands, while the ActiveFEED systems transfer the respective Material flow evenly and reproducibly to the sorting units at the touch of a button.

The non-ferrous metal recycling plant in Sjövik was consistently designed as a complete system. Screening technology, material feed and sorting technology are interlinked and enable highly Efficiency operation with throughputs that can be controlled at the touch of a button, high material purities and process-optimized plant operation.
The double-deck Vibrating screen separates the material into defined Particle sizes 0 – 5 mm, 5 – 20 mm, 20 – 60 mm, 60 – 120 mm and > 120 mm. This produces clearly defined fractions that are optimally matched to the sorting technology.
The ActiveFEEDs ensure continuous and personnel-minimized material feeding and supply. The desired throughput is selected at the touch of a button and kept constant during operation.
The system makes it possible to adapt the Material flow exactly to the requirements of the material or process. Throughput, quality and personnel deployment can be specifically coordinated.
All components are integrated into a higher-level plant control system. This means that the Screening process, material feed and sorting work as a coordinated unit.
